Featuring brilliant performances from Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort that made the film a favorite of fans and critics alike, this inspirational modern day tale of star-crossed lovers will have you going from laughter to tears and back again.
Have you read the book or seen the movie? (or both?)
I read the book back in August 2013 (click above for review) and was able to screen the movie a few weeks before it came to theaters. I thought they did a great job of adapting it for the big screen (though as usual, the book is ALWAYS better!), and reading the book inspired me to search out and read John Green's other novels, such as Paper Towns, which will also be adapted for the big screen, with Nat Wolff (from TFIOS) in the main protagonist role.
The other TFIOS Ambassador Program bloggers and I came up with a list of our favorite moments from the film, too:
What are your favorite moments from the movie that you would like to relive? Comment with your favorites and you will be entered to win a copy of TFIOS - Little Infinities Extended Edition Blu-ray!

ReplyDeleteI liked the way their relationship developed.
ReplyDeleteAs sad as it was, the funeral was really touching to me.
ReplyDeleteI have not seen the film although I have read only good reviews of the film. So I'm looking forward to seeing this tearjerker (I think I already know how the film will end but I'm staying away from any summaries or reviews so as not to spoil it.)
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen the film as of yet, but am hoping to soon.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen the film or read the book but it sounds like a pretty good one to check out.
ReplyDeletemy kids LOVED this movie!!

ReplyDeleteI haven't seen it yet, but it looked good! It'd be great to see it and see what it was all about!
ReplyDeleteI was so wanting to see this movie but never got the chance. I have heard nothing but wonderful things about it!
ReplyDeleteI really wanted to see the movie but never got the chance. I'd love to win!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen the movie so I don't have any favorite moments but would love to see this one.
ReplyDeleteI love all of them that you listed. I also love when they're coming home from Amsterdam and the dad is waiting for them at the airport. As a parent it was a really touching scene. The thing I like best about the movie (and the book) is the humor. Gus's little digs to Isaac, or when he tells Hazel to stop flirting with him. There is just so much to love about this story!
ReplyDeleteThe egg scene, among others! thank you for the contest and love the list!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen it! Hoping to win.
ReplyDeleteI would have to say their first kiss! ;)
ReplyDeleteThe egg scene is my favorite but I like the whole flim! I actually enjoyed it more than I enjoyed the book!!
ReplyDeletei have not seen it so i am not sure ! but i have heard great things about this movie.
ReplyDeleteThe egg scene (looks like I'm a conformist here)

ReplyDeleteLooking forward to reading this before watching the movie.
ReplyDeleteThe pre-funeral was amazing, heartbreaking but still amazing. Can't wait to see it again
ReplyDeleteThis was a very good movie. I would love to have it in my library.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite parts of the movie was their trip to Amsterdam. I loved the humor and the interaction between all of the characters. It was wonderful how they all supported each other.
ReplyDeleteThis was a really good movie. Very touching and emotional. I liked the humor that kept everything light-hearted instead of being gloomy. Very uplifting.
ReplyDeleteI want to see Shailene Woodley act again. She is great!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite moment is when Hazel says she fell in love the way you fall asleep: slowly then all at once. :)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see the intro one more, so eye grabbing. :D
