Book Review and GIVEAWAY: The Rabbit Who Wants to Go to Harvard {ends 2/29}

[Mommy] said that Ronald should take all the thoughts that were lingering in his head about sleep, fun, and other kid stuff and put them in a box by the bed.

This book looks like a children's picture book, but is definitely not - it's more of a parody books, appropriate for adults or teenagers, I would say. I could actually see this being a fun book for someone who is currently trying to get into college(s).

I don't usually review "children's books" on here, but this one made me laugh, especially that line above about Peter Rabbit being a thief. (I mean, technically ... he is, I suppose ...)

The book also definitely portrays "helicopter parents" accurately, and ones that are obsessed with their children going to Ivy League schools and/or the best colleges possible - it reminded me of The Nanny Diaries in that regard.

Because this isn't a novel, I'm not giving it a star rating, but I'd recommend it for those looking for a fun read, or for a gift for a teenager (or perhaps their parents!) who are currently applying to colleges.
